Experiments
I sometimes play around with various cameras or techniques. The photographs in this section don’t easily fall into some of the other categories, but I think that some people may be interested in them.

Ansel Adams was one of my original inspirations to get into photography. A fellow photographer, one of my college professors, gave me a Speed Graphic 4x5 camera. It was fun to play with, but very expensive to use. I hadn’t touched it in years and recently I acquired a Chamonix 4x5 camera. This is a photograph of White Horse Mountain near Darrington, WA. It’s one of the first photos I’ve taken with it.
My first efforts in developing and processing film images didn’t go so well. This one is much improved.
